An Afternoon in the Life of Benjamin & Annabelle

Today's photo shoot was a little unconventional for me.  Due to less than ideal weather we have pushed back the date several times and decided today enough was enough.  We were going to do this shoot no matter what.  So we decided to hang out at home, see what the kids were up to, and head outside when there was a break in the rain.  While inside shoots on a rainy day create less than ideal lighting situations, I really had a lot of fun hanging out and just seeing what photo opportunities came to be.

Benjamin kept twisting up the swing and then letting it fly.  At first we told him to stop, but then we realized how much she LOVED it so we got some pictures!

How do you get a picture of a 3 & 1 year old together?  Trap the one that ignores directions the most! :)

I think this is my favorite shot of the day.  I went a little crazy on the angle, but it worked for me.  I love it!

This is a close second on my favorites.  So sweet!

Jumping on the bed!  The lighting was terrible, but 1. they are together and 2. look how much fun they are having!  I had to take the time to lighten it up.

Thanks for being flexible today, Amy! It was fun chasing the kids around :)

  1. Shooting on overcast and rainy days is my FAVORITE! I love the light. That light is so pretty and soft. I learned to embrace it and as a result, they are some of my very favorite images.
